How I approach learning

Theory meets practice. Students build and interrogate actual systems rather than relying on demonstrations alone.

Accessibility matters. Support for local open-source models and financially inclusive learning pathways, with appropriate alternatives.

Human judgement stays central. AI is a co-pilot, not an autopilot—learners practise challenging, validating and governing outputs.

Capability grows through mentoring. Seven GTAs mentored in teaching practice, including two who achieved AFHEA recognition.

Collaborate / Learn / Build

Make research useful in the real world.

Open to research collaboration, speaking, executive training, responsible AI advisory and industry-facing projects.
